Andrew Merten is a Director of Recruiting at Momentum Search Group. He also serves as the company’s Director of Communications.
Andy has experience working with the leading practices for technology, IP, litigation, privacy, media, and entertainment in New York, California, and all other major markets. Before joining Momentum, he practiced as a litigator at Proskauer Rose and Morrison Cohen. Andy’s seven years of experience at both a major global law firm and the leading midsize firm in NYC has given him unique insight into the lateral experience and an ability to counsel attorneys at all levels regarding long-term career planning.
Andy graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science. He earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law, where he worked on the Southern California Law Review and a post-conviction legal clinic representing inmates at the California Institute for Women. He has previously sat on the Board of Directors and the Judicial Screening Committee of the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York. Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his husband and baby son around New York City and Westchester, running, and reading as much as possible.
